Mission Motorsport supports wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel and Veterans to use motorsport as a positive catalyst to recovery and rehabilitation.

Further to offering opportunities to take part in an exhilarating sport, Mission Motorsport provide their benefactors with an opportunity to gain skills, hands on experience and relevant qualifications to help them transition into a life of work, beyond injury.  As a key partner of the Recovery Career Service, Mission Motorsport help to find work placements for their members across the automotive industry.

Lord Robin Janvrin is the Chairman of The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.  On 29th June 2015, he had the honour of accepting an invitation from Mission Motorsport to open their new Training Facility at their base in Oxfordshire.  This training facility will act as centre to enhance the effectiveness and success of the sporting activity conducted by the team as well as providing a positive learning environment in which wounded, injured and sick Service Personnel and Veterans can study for their industry recognised qualifications that are so important for their first steps and subsequent successful transition into the civilian work environment.

Lord Janvrin was shown around the new facility and had the pleasure of speaking to a number of people on the Mission Motorsport team, many of whom are now starting new lives working in the automotive industry after their passion for cars has been ignited through motorsport.  Lord Janvrin then spoke about how The Royal Foundation has been proud to help in the renovation of the training facility with support from the Endeavour Fund.
